SARAH FURNO, CASHEL BLUE. It is a privilege to run a small Irish family food business. Our family has been involved in agriculture and food in Tipperary since the 1700s when our grain was exported to America. My mother Jane Grubb created Cashel Blue in our home when I was a child. She was a chef and instilled a love and respect for quality food in me from a young age. At university I fell in love with an Italian, Sergio. Today we manage Cashel Blue together. We have been working with Aldi Ireland for over 15 years and we have great respect for their sincere interest in our craft of Irish farmhouse cheesemaking, and their constant energy and focus on bringing new experiences and ways of enjoying good food to their customer base.
