We’re here FOR YOU

GREENER

We’re GREENER everyday. From sustainably sourced fish, to food waste reductions, to reducing plastic and packaging and planting trees, our green thinking is working towards a better environment.

Where we have planted trees so far: • Rockfield, Co. Limerick 16,000 trees • Muingaphuca, Co. Kerry 15,000 trees • Annagh, Co. Mayo 7,600 trees • Portagh, Co. Mayo 6,600 trees • Ballyfarnagh, Co. Mayo 10,400 trees • Headford, Co. Galway 21,516 trees • Aughrim, Co. Wicklow 30,000 trees

Here at Aldi, in conjunction with Green Belt, we have pledged to plant 1 million native Irish woodland trees by 2025. And we are well on the way with 100,000 already planted. But this is only one of the many changes we are making to be greener everyday.

FAIRER

We’re FAIRER everyday. Whether it’s backing Irish Farmers, tackling food poverty, or raising money for amazing charities, we’re here to help. Backing Irish farming We’re committed to sourcing 100% Irish freshmeats, dairy and cage-free shell eggs. All our own label fresh meat is certified by Bord Bia’s Quality Assurance schemes.

Charity support Along with supporting FoodCloud and the Irish Cancer Society, our national partnership with Barnardos Ireland aims to raise €1 million over two years to help transform the lives of families and children in need across Ireland.

We’re HEALTHIER everyday by helping our customers achieve their 5-a-day by selling great value fruit and veg. Beyond Aldi’s vegetable aisles, we’re constantly reviewing and improving the nutritional value of our products to help our customers shop and live healthy lifestyles. By 2025, we are committed to having 70% of our food sales coming from healthier products. HEALTHIER Aldi Play Rugby Each year over 100,000 primary school children participate in the Aldi Play Rugby campaign to help get them active in a fun non-competitive programme.
