Ingredients For the oat

crumble topping: • 250g Plain Flour • 150g Butter • 80g Caster Sugar • 60g Porridge Oats

For the plum filling: • 800g Plums, halved and stoned • 50g Light Brown Sugar • Zest of 1 Orange • 1 tbsp Flour/Cornflour • Custard/Cream/ Ice Cream, to serve

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 190°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6. Rub the butter into the flour, caster sugar and oats until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Place all the ingredients for the filling into a mixing bowl and stir until the flour/cornflour, orange zest and sugar coat the stoned and chopped fruit. Tip the filling into an ovenproof dish and add the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden and bubbling. Serve hot with custard, cream or ice cream.
